Carbon fiber dash replacement

Hey guys, Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been coming back to this board more often from when i first registered since I'm looking for a replacement for my I35. I really like the new G's except for the washi aluminum trim. For some reason I really just can't stand it but then last night i came across a pic of a member who had CF overlays. I liked that a lot better (against popular opinion) and now im' really leaning on getting a G for my next car. I did some research and found a company that did full trim replacement. Anyone ever buy from these guys or know of a cheaper alternative that aren't overlays? Any help would be great, thanks.

here's a pic:

I work with graphite epoxy laminates and I have to agree, yes, that is quite the rip off. Even if it was half the cost, that company would still make a huge profit from those items.

But, if you like it, you should get it. My wife and most others on the planet thought I was crazy to pay $150 for my Highlander sword replica.

the wood trim they offer doesn't look half bad.. the trim replaces the washi trim.. so they're not stickers... I'd be interested if it wasn't so expensive

I read a post while back of someone that got the CF trim...and i think it was 4-5 bills. Anyone konw which post i'm tlaking about?

Also, you would think if they expect someone to drop 2 bills on a CF trim..the least they can do is have some close-up picture. What a rip

Yeah I think i like the look of the carbon fiber with the darker interior, its just that at the same time i don't want overlays and this is the only place that I've seen that offers a complete replacement kit(not that i would spend 2k on trim pieces!). I wouldn't mind faux CF if the prices were reasonable and if there is a kit available. Anybody got pics of any carbon fiber interior replacements for the previous gen G? I'd be interested in seeing the fitment and look. Maybe its just a matter of time before someone comes out with a more affordable kit.

doesn't look like it's a replacement kit to me...looks like they attach the pieces to the console. Why would they need a core if this is a replacement?

simulated infiniti dash kits are available in many custom finishes such as Burl wood, Zebrano and Blackwood.(Call for details). Cores must be received before we can ship your complete Infiniti g35 dash board trim kit. (Core Exchange ONLY

Interior trim is the only thing holding you back from purchasing the G? I would look past that, the car is awesome.

My opinion, that CF trim looks like ****. I like the washi aluminum, keeps the interior clean and with a touch of Japanese (rice paper finish). If not that, there's the wood trim. To eash his own though, we can't tell you how to spend your money.

Molded CF Interior Trim......!

If you don't like the interior trim you could always have it painted the exterior
of your car. Those prices on the CF are way to high, should be in the $500
range or at least that's what I saw at the last auto show.
