Light-switch throttle

My 07 G35x has a very touchy accellerator pedal. Basically I barely have to press the pedal for the throttle to go wide open. This same "light-switch" condition was written about in a test report from R&T:

Has anyone else experienced this? I traded up from an 03 G35 sedan which didn't do this.

I wish my car had the touchy throttle. Mine has the new flash. It makes the car feel like you have to floor it to get it to react. Just learn to appreciate the touchy throttle. Ill switch ECUs with you at any time.

I definitely have the same condition. You will get used to it.

My wife's Volvo XC70 has to be floored to move at all, same with my Jeep Cherokee.

kre62's right...Given the choice, I'll take the touchy throttle any day!

Mine doesn't have a touchy throttle; have never heard of it, and no-one here has ever discussed it...

You can search and find a ton of threads on this, including the available ECU flash.

EDIT:>> Interesting commentary from folks who have had the flash done. I haven't taken mine in specifically due to concerns about losing throttle responsiveness - the twitchy first inch of the throttle is a minor pain, but losing any performance would be a tragedy!
