Buyer's Remorse
I am learning to love my G35. I really wanted a BMW, but I was scared of the RFT and reliability. Plus, I drove both and liked the drive and interior of the G35 better.
If I could have combined the exterior of the BMW with the interior of the G35, that would have been my perfect car.

Took my baby on a skiing trip for the first time last weekend. SHE DID GREAT! The AWD handled the ice and snow just great and even the gas mileage impressed me: in the city it sux yes, but on a highway i got over 400 miles from one tank. The only regrets i have is that i'll get the nav and back up camera in my next car. And i think i'm only buying AWD cars from now on, feels so stable and secure on any road. GREAT CAR!
Never once regretted it. Only thing I do regret is not waiting the 3 months for the Sport with options I wanted, instead settled for the one they had on the lot. Even still though...I absolutely love it. Someone before mentioned before that they love it as much as their first day. With the little tinkering and mod I've done, and the sweat I've put into detailing it, I love this car way more than the day I drove it off the lot.
To the OP...sorry you're having any sort of remorse at all...not a good feeling...

here's my biggest problem with gas mileage: there is no speed auto
having a 6th gear would easily improve gas mileage on freeway driving.
why does it need to run at such a high rpm while cruising? while it may be fun for passing, etc, the transmission should kick down when needed and return to a nice, 2k rpm cruising speed....

Got my G 3 months ago and I'm very happy with my decision. It's the BEST car for the price! It's easy to maintain. The gas mileage is bad but what do you expect from a 300 hp+ engine.
Few things I don't like about the G sedan:
1)Cheap chrome grill
2)Exterior paint quality

Things I don't like about the new G:
1) Cheap grill.
2) Exterior paint chips (is it just me?).
3) Thigh extender wiggles.
4) Rear view mirro w/ home link feels cheap (when adjusting).
5) No folding back seat (although this made car more rigid).
6) Not enough aftermarket support (although it's growing slowly).
7) Almost always crappy services @ stealership (I've never had this problem with my dad's Lexus).
8) BT connectivity SUCKS (Verizon XV6800. Known issue with this phone, but I hate it. It works fine with other phones tho'). LOL
9) No iPod integrating solution for 07 models, yet. (Grrrrr...)
10) Last, MPG SUCKS BIG TIME.
With all the above complaints... I still LOVE MY CAR!! LOL!!! Man, I love my car so much. No way I'm giving up my car.

I had a (MT) Z before the G, for handling the Z is still handle better, but the Z is a sport car vs. G a sport sedan, so it's not an apple to apple kind of comparsion. The exhaust note of the G is not as loud as the Z but it's still sound very nice compare to other type of sport sedans. The back seat is pretty roomy too, bigger than IS350 or Bimmer 3 series'. I also think the interior of the G looks better than the TL, IS, BMW's..etc.
The G is capable of decent MPG, just need to go easy on the right foot. I'm still in break in period and I have avg. of 21.5 mixed city/highway drive..not too bad for a 300+hps car
All in all, the G is definitely a fine sport sedan with power + look + high tech. I love it when i put my index finger in the Start button every morning...vooooom... =D

I'll have a future buyers remorse if they come out with 3.7, direct injection, turbo or any/all of the above...
Gas mileage sucks beyond belief, wished they had an extra gear for cruising, and fold down rear seats would be great. Slightly small glove compartment too..
Besides that, everything is wonderful.
No remorse in not getting a nav as I was able to install one that integrates with the console screen (only drawback is no touchscreen and music while on aux).
Car is fast and handles great.

You know the feeling about wanting to just 'drive' the car! This is one of those. Handles tight, lots of usable torque, nice pull. Very tossable car. Haven't taken it to the track yet, but no hurry, I've got a track car.
Only quibble is, I wish the clutch/tranny is a little quieter. Still sounds too coarse at just over 2K miles.
