G35 Air Filters: How to Install?
Forgive me if this has been asked before:
Can someone point me to easy to follow directions for changing these myself. I have never been the kind to tinker inside an engine but am ready to learn to install these. I've heard that dealers really rake you ove the coals for this simple job.
In advance, thanks!

If you can't figure out how to replace the air filters just by LOOKING at the filter boxes, you don't deserve to drive this car.
j/k
It's super easy: Just push the locking tabs up, take off the cover, pull out the filter, put in the new one, put the cover back on, and push down the tabs to secure in place. More like 3-5 seconds tops!
I just bought a cabin filter from everythingg35. Now THAT will take a little longer.

Cabin filter will be interesting. On my Maxima I normally set aside about 1/2 hour when I change cabin filter out. I have not seen anyone discuss process of swapping out '07 filter. Is it similar to '06 and earlier?

I'm not much of a do it yourself. But I drive alot and the dealer's prices are too high. I figure whatever I can save by doing it myself, I would. The airfilters are easy. I would love to do the cabin micro-filter. I already figured out how to do the wiperblades. I have a journey so I rotate my own tires. I'm close to 30k miles and the dealer quoted me $740 for the service. No way will I pay more than $400.

Cabin air filter: the manual says everyone 15k miles or 12 months -- I guess whichever comes first.
