I haven't polished chrome on a G, however I did on a family member's Lincoln Navigator. They incurred some scratches from a shopping cart and wondered if I could remove them. They had a little dremel tool with a small buffing wheel so I used that along with my Menzerna 0106FF polish and about 95% of the scratches were removed.
