Drive the actual car, not a comparable one. Too may people have been screwed over by buying without driving the actual car. Don't be sucked in by just a good price without getting the feel and all possible info on the car.

 

I have already driven a 2008 6 speed G35 sedan without navi. The car that I am looking for is not available anywhere on the Eastern seaboard and would have to be ordered from Japan with a 12 to 16 week wait. So it is impossible to drive the exact same vehicle that I am purchasing

 

Drive the actual car he is going to buy? I'd never do that. Always demo'd one on the lot, then placed my order for a brand spanking new one. Anyway sounds like he had to hunt this one down so I'd say go for it.
