Super stiff clutch!!

Well, a cold front came through yesterday and this evening on the way home from work the temp readout said -25 degress F WITHOUT the windchill (30 mph gusts). After a few minutes on the freeway the clutch and shifter turned to concrete. It still worked but man she was stiff. All the more reason to run synthetic in the engine, tranny, and rear differential.

-34 degrees farenheit this morning on the way to work. I think I am doing a little extra cold weather durability testing for Infiniti this week.

I feel every cold morning day on my car everything stiffer. Brake the steering everything. After a minute of driving the fluids aren't that thick and everything smoother.

where do you live?! its like 70 degrees here in Texas, haha! does your car start up well, or do you have to use some kind of battery heater thing?

I park in my garage where it is around freezing so it's not a big issue. If you park outside you absolutely have to plug in the cars block heater to keep the oil from solidifying into a thick goo. At these temps, tires start to freeze with a flat spot from sitting so you have to be careful until you start to get things moving. I am around 400 miles north of the Idaho border with Canada.

I park my car mostly outside and no issue with the start. I never pluged it in.
