07 G35x Pricing

Test drove one yesterday. Its listed at 28k with 23k miles. No navi or sat radio. What do you think?

According to Edmunds.com, $28k seems to be the going rate for the base '07 G35x. However, it didn't specify mileage, and 23k is a lot to rack up in one year. I'd highly recommend talking the price down another $1,000 or so, on just that alone.

Good luck!

definitely a heavy driver to get 23k in a year when you figure a good average is around 12k a year, like most lease guidelines. Hopefully it was a lot of freeway time, and not stop and go. But yeah I'd look for a little bit more off due to the mileage, you're pretty close to some significant service intervals which you're going to end up having to take care of.

Thanks. There are a couple others at this one dealership for 24-25k but they only will sell you the car if you finance 75% from them which seems fishy to me.

Just ask how much they want as a down payment. Most of these dealerships make money on points from getting you to finance. You can usually prepay the loan with no penalty. Chances are, the finance company will get you for a couple of weeks of interest charges ($200 bucks more or less) and then you own the car free and clear.

That is fishy. I would find another dealer. If you have a problem, you won't want to have to rely on them to take care of it.

Or you could just wait 6-7 months until the 2009 G35 sedan is released and go search for a 07X again but at a greater discount...

You could probably get it for 24-26k by then.
