Tire Problem. help needed......

I am having problem with my rear right tire. I am loosing pressure for that tire always. Yesterday when I checked the tire pressure it was 9 psi. I filled it to 34 and today I am getting the tire pressure warning again. Before it used to show that warning once in four or five days, now it’s every other day.

Do I have a bad tire? If that’s the case what can I do about it? Can any one please help me…….

FYI I live in Florida, So cold weather cant be a factor

Thanks

Have you had it checked? Sounds like a nail, or (less likely) a bad valve stem.

You serious? It's clearly not just the sensor, it's the tire itself. Take it into a service center and I'm sure they'll find a crack or a nail in it somewhere.

You probably got nailed , sorry couldn't resist.

Bring your car to any local mechanic and have them check for leakage

Thanks guys, I will take it to the dealer today.

Just thinking, will I be covered if there is any damage to the tire?

Unlikely. Mfg warranties don't typically have road hazard coverage, so unless you specifically negotiated that with the dealer when you bought, I'd say you've got to pay. If it's just a small nail that's not in the sidewall and it can be repaired, it shouldn't cost more than $15-20, though. If it's in the sidewall or the hole's gotten too big, you'll be in for a new tire.

Were you able to get it repaired or was the tire a write-off?

Based on how fast it was losing air, I'd guess it was a write-off.

What did you fill the tire up with, regular air? Did your car not come with nitrogen in the tires...

Mine came with N; after changing the tires, it's now regular air. Zero difference, even when one had regular air, and the rest N.
