I wouldn't be surprised if Infiniti brings the VQ25HR over to Europe, as gas prices are so high over there.

I think the G37 sedan will do good in Europe. I would rather get g37 sedan over BMW 328i especially for the price.

Just do this and enjoy.

Curious why you think ventilated seats will be an option, as I don't see it mentioned in the PR. There are new seat 'dials' in the center console, à la M35/45, but after searching the release for any mentioning of 'cooled' or 'ventilated' and coming up empty handed, I presume that they merely have replaced the rocker switches with turn dials for heat only.

Thoughts? Did I completely miss something?

Thanks.

Youre definitely right, the new interior pictures show the dials, but no mention of the ventilated seats. Although it would be a sweet feature, I dont think Infiniti wants to shoot themselves in the foot by adding to many features to the G-line and making it too close to the M in terms of features. I think that could possibly sabotage some M sales, even though the M is considerably larger and a bit more 'luxurious'

How about that panoramic roof, optional 20" Sport wheels, rear seat entertainment system, AND the rear 60/40 folding seat with power recline, heat, a/c and massage....

....yeah, those aren't in the press release either! I don't know where the ventilated seat rumour came from.

Here's the problem:

Infiniti is ALREADY behind the 8-ball with a brand new model.

The G35 is getting slaughtered by the BMW 335.

So, even upping the ante in this regard, they are STILL under the BMW performance.

Also, I still can't understand why anyone gets excited about the current G37 coupe when the performance difference is non existent.

It's too bad, because ventilated seats are one of the nicest features in a car (and very practical in humid/hot Texas), IMHO. Saab introduced them back in 1998, loved them in our multiple 9-5s, and continue to love them in our M.

Yeah cooled seats would be sweet.

I will only lease trendy Infiniti cars. They change them significantly so often and I always want the latest and greatest. Take a BMW, you buy a 3 series and it remains relatively unchanged for half a decade. Infinitis get changed every two years like the sun rises every morning. The M35/M45 just got better looking, the 09 G35 will probably be a G37. The 03-04 G35 vs the 05-06. Same for the 350Zs and older G35 Coupes.

Nissan always feels like they need to play catch-up. The ironic thing is it doesn't really hurt resale, these things still hold their value real well despite being constantly updated.

They are more or less the same in a straight line shoot out but the coupe has a wider stand and a more aggressive suspension setup. There are those who driven both and said the coupe is a slightly better track car.

Ive driven both a G37S and a G35S, and honestly, in my fairest opinion, I thought they handled quite identical. The sport suspension on the Sedan is quite stiff IMO, but it feels very good. The Sedan honestly handles better than my 06 6MT coupe.

that's whats probably so disappointing with the g37 coupe, ideally, you'd think it be a faster/better handling version of the 4 door... except they made it perform the same minus 2 doors

don't know about you, but i'm enjoying my 08, i mean, what if this is thing doesn't come out to the u.s market, or if there is a significant price increase (because of motor and brand new 7sp a/t), 7 sp a/t could be so new that it may have defects/service bulletins, etc etc...

it would be neat to see the base 2.5, mid grade 3.5/3.7 and high end skyline 3.8 twin turbo engine choices
