good track can give u +/- 1.0 second difference in ET and +/- 3-4mph trap speed.

Does the fact that Houston's drag strips are pretty much at sea level help or hurt? I'd think it would help... Back to that whole air density thing.

some drag strips are just simply faster. These are great time Nonetheless, considering the fastest stock 1st gen time is 13.8 @ 101.

Elevation/conditions make a huge difference.

Check out my corrected and uncorrected times/mphs

that was with under 1000 miles on the car.

the best 1/4 mile from all the magazines i think was a 13.8 or 13.9, and based off all the 1/4 miles times posted on the driver its just shocking to see in footage a 13.5......that almost qualifies for the term "low thirteens"

That's sick.

People mock me when I say I've enjoyed driving this car more than my 04 350Z - handles better and faster. Zoom zoom zoom.

I also enjoy this car more than my 04 Z. Houston in January is relatively cool and at sea level. I don't think that track is known for running fast. In the Summer it's hot and humid and runs slow.

It's pretty common for real world 1/4 mile track times to beat those in car mags like C&D, R&T, M/T because they don't spend nearly as much time testing the vehicle as an owner who visits 1/4 mile tracks would.
