Blue Slate vs Lakeshore Slate

About to purchase a new G35X in either of the two slate colors. Leaning towards Wheat interior with wood.

Haven't been able to get to the dealer in the daylight and at night outside the colors are difficult to differentiate. The blue slate seems really dark, and the lakeshore appealing, but then once home I flop back and forth.

Interested in candid opinions on these color combos. Hoping to purchase this week.

Also considering performance tire/wheel combo, but live in the cold northeast and hear there are issues <40 temp.

Lakeshore Slate gets my vote. LS with wheat and wood is a great combo. This was my first choice, but I could'nt find one without Nav. Blue Slate is a much darker color. My wife's suv is a color close to BS and is hard to keep clean.

Can't advise you on the performance tire package in colder climates since I live in Houston, but FWIW I went with the stock tires and wheels and am very satisfied with my choice.

Either way, you're getting a great car. Enjoy it!

I love my Blue Slate, and get lots of compliments on it. However as mentioned it is hard to keep clean.

G35x
I really like mine with the stone interior. I may have gone graphite if it had been available in '07. I already had a wheat theme in my Maxima so I was looking for something different.

I have an 05 LS with the black dashboard and the tan colored seats (think it might be wheat) but i LOVE color combo between it and the LS exterior color.

If i were you, id go the graphite over wheat.

I heart my BS. Looks blue in day time and gray at night.

Blue Slate and Stone interior. Gorgeous! But yes it is hard to keep clean. Also I think that scratches show up much easier on the darker color. other than that I like it a lot better than LS.

I'll throw in my vote vor blue slate/stone (since that's what i got). It's definitely a darker color so shows off road dirt, salt residue really really easy, and the stone interior gets dirty pretty easy. Lots of paw prints in my back seat

But I still love the combo. I originally wanted BS/graphite interior, but dealer had BS/stone and i ended up really liking it.

My LS replaced a black car and BS was to close to black for me. I just wanted something different. Although, I have LS I like BS as well.
