"Other, oil, tires" maintenance reminder just went on today after setting it a month ago at 3500 miles.

Can someone clarify what the "other" means?? and I'm assuming "tires" means rotation right?

How often do you give your G an oil change and where do you get it done?

 

If you set the reminders for 3500 miles, that means it will come on at 3500 miles intervals starting from time you set it. i.e. If you set it for 3500 miles when you have 1000 mile on the odometer, the reminder will come on when you have 4500 miles on the odometer.

The "Other" category is whatever you want it to be.

Personally, I turn all service reminders off.

 

is it too late now that I have that annoying reminder going off or Is it something that the dealership has to do to turn it off or reset it? So this things is basically just telling me that I need an oil change and tire rotation? How often is it best to do a tire rotation?

 

I only use the change oil mode. If you have sport model or sport pkg then dont need to rotate tire.
