Dealers and service...

A few more questions for everyone. I've been looking around and there seems to be quite a few posts on over priced service and questionable dealers. Is this common with Infiniti or just the typical squeaky wheel type posting?

I haven't looked into the warranty that Infiniti provides yet but aren't scheduled oil changes covered at no cost? Maybe its just been a while since my last scheduled maintenance so I have lost my reference. Got one coming up soon though.

Again, I appreciate your insights and opinions.

Eric.

^^ i dont think so.. i just paid 43$ for oil change (brought my own oil).. i'd recommend doing most of the easy maintenance things yourself or get a shop to do them

i think the only dealer that has "free" oil changes are bmw for the first 40 or 50k miles....this is what you have to remember about new car dealerships, they don't make the majority of their income from selling cars. the people who own infiniti back in japan make all the money off the cars. the dealership that you visit brings in their revenue from MAINTENANCE. everything will cost money for you unless you find a free oil change coupon...which they won't tell you about until after the fact.

I'm going in for my first at the dealership tomorrow

they said it was gonna cost me 90 bucks for the the 3500 mile maintenance. Does this sounds right to you guys?

Whats covered? Oil change, top off all fluids, tire rotation, ...think thats about it.

Is it possible to turn off that annoying maintenance blinker after its been turned on? I've reset it but its still going off.

Call your sales person for the oil change coupon. He/she will hand it to you when you get to the dealer.
