The manual says there is a voice command for Tire Pressure, no where else in the manual does it reference a tire pressure readout. Can any of you with 08 (or 07 if it does it) tell me if you cna get a direct tire pressure readout on the screen? I have to love Honda/Acura for this, I am a tire saftey nut and with the TL I just look at tire pressure every day when I jump in car.

 

I looked at my Sedan Manual and TPMS info is on P2-16 & P5-3. I looked under voice commands in P4-83 to P4-88 and do not see any command for TPMS readings. I thought there is only a Low tire pressure warning light in the meters and guages. What page /section did you read that there is a voice command for TPMS.

 

I downloaded the 08 Sedan/Coupe manual and on page 4-110 I n the section for Infiniti Voice Recognition System (models with navigation system)

Under Vechical Information Commands it lists:

Tire Pressure Displays the Tire Pressure Screen



Was wondering if that is really a functoin and what it displays?

i know it doesnt have revelance to the op but i just found that out today

 

I found a thread posted in myg37.com forum regarding this. To summarize: they are massing to complain to Infiniti because some of the voice commands listed in your 08 manual do not work or do not exist. Read on...and Good Luck!

I don’t post much but do read regularly, great web site. Do a little digging, there are quite a few links here and other web sites ref. this subject. Nissan/Infiniti downgraded the Nav & voice activation systems for ’08 after a certain date/vin #. Many commands were deactivated, most are still listed in the owners manuals, very deceptive if not fraud. Nissan/Infiniti is trying had to claim this is not a problem, no one else has complained, right…. Hopefully this isn’t the way their normal business is run. Call Infiniti consumer affairs (i.e. customer no service) & your dealer, log a complaint about the downgraded nav/voice activation system. If you feel strongly enough, file an online complaint with the BBB and etc. Good luck, post back your results.
