Smile Anyone buy a G35x in Alberta (Canada)?

Just curious to see if anyone bought a G35x in Alberta, how was your experience and how much did you pay (breakdown)?

Thanks in advance.

Won't beat this?

I live in Calgary. I dislike Hyatt's service. I bought mine from driving.ca out of Vancouver used with 500km only. Full load including Nav. IP with every option. Let me know if you can find one at a better price? I paid $40,000 with delivery to Calgary. It is a 07 now with 2000km. Good luck.

I ordered an '07x new from Ericksen about October of 2006. It's was my 3rd from them (had an '05x & '06 coupe) and the sales staff were always great.

As for the service department, my few dealings with them have always been less pleasant. In fact, the service they have done was only on my '05 which included a couple visits for a bunch of rattles they never did find (in my opinion they didn't even try), and a blown fuel pump. During those visits I never did get a courtesy car, though I'm not entirely sure what the policy is, and sometimes my own car would come back washed and sometimes not. As well, I did do one oil change with them whereby I had to book 3 weeks in advance, still show up at 6:30 AM (they didn't book times, just days), sat around and waited until 11:00 for them to finish, then charged me $75 for something everybody else does for $20. Needless to say, as I haven't had rattles or any issues with the '07 it has never been back.

With regards to pricing, the '07 was ordered/bought before all the currency issues, so I got the X with premium, nav and tech for what I remember being a couple grand less than sticker. At the time, that was probably still around $50.

My pricing on my car was much better through Ericksen than Hyatt. Service however at Ericksen is not the best. The only reason I go is I know the shop foreman and request him by name for service. 3 week wait time to do that but I do get a G35X courtesy car.

I am wondering what range I should be looking at when purchasing a '08 G35X (Nav, Tech, Premium, Wood)?

Seems like the current rebate is for cash only customers??? Or am I mistaken?

I called each dealer and got their pricing. You can usually play them off each other a little to save some cash.

Question

Changing the topic.... service. It is amazing as I cruise web sites how many people complain about Infiniti service! They should let Nissan service Infinitis then at least there is a choice. Infiniti Canada does not care either so that is not an option if you don't agree with service/warranty issues from Infiniti. One dealer in Edmonton & 1 in Calgary. Not much choice?

For such a premium badge you would think they would want to look after their customers for repeat business & referrals, obviously NOT!

$4500 with cash, $2500 if you lease or finance. This is FACTORY incentive, so it doesn't affect what you can get off from the dealer. Fully loaded, I'd aim for them to give you an additional $3500 off. There's just short of $4200 in profit on a G35x w/premium ONLY, so with nav and tech putting a little more in the dealer's pocket, $3500 should be possible. Of course, if you sense they're desperate, stretch to $4000. They're still making money, and they move the car.

And these amounts are in addition, so paying cash you could see upwards of $8500 off MSRP (or $6500 off for lease/finance)
