Camber and alignment
I'm thinking of getting the lifetime (of owning the car) alignment at Firestone for 160.00. Does anyone think its worth it? How many times or how often is it best to get an alignment? Once a yr.?< if this is the case is the 160 even worth considering?
I heard that an Eibach drop is considerably the most conservative of the springs available in the market today that one would not even need a camber kit for the G35. Some cars tend to camber in way more than others, however with the newer G35 its tendency is pretty low. I'm getting the Eibach camber bolt put in so Ill have that peace of mind but also considering an alignment more for vanity reasons (flushness).

It depends if you trust the firestone you're taking it to. I worked at firestone in San Diego for 3 years and i wouldnt trust anyone there but myself with my car or any other nice car for that matter. So, needless to say, everyone with a G on this forum that lived in San Diego was lucky i was there to do their work and some even went as far as letting nobody else but me touch their cars, EVER.
It is definitely worth the $160 and you should get the alignment done once every 6 months or 6k miles.

hmmm than who could I trust?
Isn't it a simple procedure? they have the equipment, the knowledge (lets hope), and the right price. What could go wrong? Do they give me a print out of the alignment to show proof of the specs I wanted?
hmmm Im also kinda worried that he mentioned lowered cars can have issues going on the jacks.

You'd be surprised. Most Firestone's have the Hunter laser machine, if so, you dont have to worry about them jacking the car up. THey just have to have room to drive it up the ramp for the rack. When my car was lowered 3" i had to use 2x10's and blocks underneath to get my car on our rack.
It's not a simple as you may think for some people. I've seen numerous wheels get scratched by careless mechanics. The laser head clamps on the outside lip of the wheel so if they're not careful, they can knick the finish on your brand spankin new wheels. They should give you a before and after printout with specs.

I've waited for two and a half months for these wheels to come half way across the globe to my front door, I could wait an additional 4 to 5 more days
ahhhh fine I cant wait either!!ahhhhhhhhhhhh
updates:
1) America's Tires should be getting the tires in tomorrow
2) Infiniti has been working on my car for the past 2 days installing a new circuit board that controls everything from the gauge cluster to the climate control panels...I have no idea what happened..it just did
3) Mon: Go in to get springs and camber kit installed
4) Tues: Put on Wheels and Tires. Take some pictures to post on my favorite forum
