Please give me some suggestion my G35 just got complete crashed

Hi guys
I just lease 08 G35 sport one month ago. Someone just hit me this afternoon, and my car’s complete crashed. I just start to lease this car in the beginning of this March for 24 months, and I also got the full coverage of insurance from SafeCo Company. Do you think I can get a brand new car from insurance or they’re just going to fix this car? Since this car got the serious damage already, should I repair this G35? Can someone please give me some suggestion what should I do next? Thanks for your help.

The insurance company will make that determination whether the car is fixable or totaled. I believe that given the fact that the car is leased, the lien holder (most likely Nissan Infiniti LT) would get the payout from the insurance company if it's considered totaled. If you put in a large down payment, you might get some of the payout. I think that's how it works. Not 100% sure though.

I am sorry that your G is trashed. Now you get to experience the fun of getting a new one again! And you can get all the things that you didn't get the first time.

Your insurance company will determine whether or not the car is a total write off as mentioned. I think you're going to need to have about 22K+ in damage based on 70% of the vehicles worth. Pictures would definitely help but frame damage and airbag deployments along with physical damage to the block are major ticket items. Good luck but if it's as bad as you think, I hope you can walk away completely and look for another car.

Your insurance company is probably just going to give you the cash as the car seems like it was totaled.
