technology package
technology package
I visited my dealer last weekend and want to finalize my car tomorrow. I am torn between when i want to spend the extra money for the technology package. Could those of you who have the tech package let me know if you feel it's worth the cost, or those who purposely did not get it, do you regret it. Thanks to all.
It depends on each individual driver. I got the tech package on mine, because I wanted the adaptive headlights. It works wonders if you drive a lot at night around twisty roads. Not too many of those in Houston, but lots of them around the Hill Country near San Antonio and Austin. It helps a lot to be able to "see" around the corner.
I haven't tried the intelligent cruise control yet. But the theory behind it sounds pretty cool, if you drive long distances.
As for the pre-crash seat belts, I hope I never get to find out whether that feature helps or not!!!

Haven't experienced Pre-Crash Seat Belts and Adaptive Front lighting System doesn't really do much for me. But I do use Intelligent Cruise Control with preview braking often on highways. If you have money to spare, get it, if you don't feel like spending the extra cash, you're not missing out on much.
I'm assuming you are talking about an 08...but there is a chance that you are talking about buying a used 07 as well. Which one? Tech packaged changed options during the two years...
The tech package IMO is def worth it. The rear view cam is amazing, the headlights that turn when u turn are even better...but the intellegent cruise control takes the cake.....specially those drives with the mrs
or when u just wanna cruise n not worry about the gas pedal
