Steering Wheel Problem

I just personally installed the paddle shifters using this amazing DIY and they work great. However, when I got on the highway the next day I noticed that to go in a straight line my steering wheel was turned a good 15-25 degrees to the right. Did I seriously mess something up, or do I just need to have an alignment? I did struggle quite a bit with the 19 mm nut and had use a significant amount of force to get it off. I'm really worried now and I hope someone out there can give me some advise. I was trying to save some money and install the shifters myself and now I might end up spending more money just to fix this problem. Anyone else had a similar experience? Sorry for the long post.

You prolly just put your wheel back on a little "off" or some how the during the course of the project, the front wheels got turned just a tick.. i think you have to get the front wheels straight, and then put steering wheel on straight.... i have not done this though,, so maybe someone who has will chime in....
