Driving fat people?

Anyone know if driving a 300lbl person in the passenger seat (friend of mine) can hurt our cars? I see my friend get in and my car drops by a good inch :/. I am 140 lbl and the car hardly moves when I get in.

The manual says not to put overly heavy objects on the seats... Am I being paranoid? I just got an 08 g35xs 2 days ago and it's my baby that I wouldn't want to hurt...

LOLOL im sure you're your fine =) if you have your friend on the passenger for a good few hours daily , you might need to just change springs soon but look on the bright side you have better stability control since you're more secure to the floor. =)

have her sit in the back seat.
that way you get more downforce on the rear wheels and create a perfect 50/50 weight ratio for superb handling.

I have a co-worker who's pushing 350.
I used to take him to lunch in my Acura MDX before it became the wife's car.
I noticed that the center console would creek and make horrible noises when he was in the car and after 10-15 rides in my car, that creeking started to occur more and more often, without him in the passenger seat.

He's not allowed in my G!

Ask when the last time was that he sat in a sports car with seats like ours. I would imagine he's way to wide, so you really don't even need to make up any excuses. Just tell him he won't fit, and if he does manage to squeeze in, your side bolsters will break off.

LOL! I would but the fat bastard would get pissed.

Anybody else have some real insight on the amount of danger involved (to the car)?

People are so insensitve to fat people. I don't know if you are just plain stupid or it was a joke. Cars are designed to have people to sit in, does it matter if the person is 1lb or 400lbs it will not hurt the car. If you would read the manual or your door jam there is a label that tells you how much your car can haul. The the max weight of most cars is more people then you can put in your car. 300lbs x4 would not even hurt your car. No I am not fat just sickens me that people would even say or start a thread like this. This is probably one of the dummiest threads ever.

You should check the sticker on your door frame then say you carry 1200lbs. Just go out and check it. You'll be surprised.
