Will Infiniti restore 07 voice commands?

Does anyone know if/when Infiniti will restore all the voice commands originally found on the 07? Thanks.

That's a very dangerous question you don't want answered.

I believe an example would be a direct temperature command like--->

"Temperature 68"

Here is a link to the lost voice commands. 07's and early 08's still have them. 08's with version 8.1 don't.

Yes, I hear it's coming back in the G35 'Knight Rider' package - you'll have all the usual commands, plus have useful features like auto-valet, and 'rearrange yourself into a completely different car'...

EDIT:>> Auto-valet would be really cool: "G, go find yourself a parking spot"

Being an engineer, I don't see how it would at all be cost effective to build voice commands into hardware......no....in fact I would be VERY surprised if it wasn't a software solution. My guess, if they're running WinCE, is that they're using a subset of MS Voice Command.

I believe unit runs QNX for the OS.

EDIT: Here is an old thread about QNX in G.
