Since we're on this topic.....I Must say I loved the way my stock exhaust sounded on a cold morning.

I don't know that an aftermarket exhaust will "fix" the problem. If anything, making your exhaust louder may just make the v6 rasp more pronounced.
Unfortunately, there's no way to make a v6 sound like a Ferrari v8.
Just be glad our 6 cylinder doesn't sound like a Porsche!! Have you ever heard a loud exhaust on a 911 turbo? Probably the worst sound ever. Worse than a civic with a fart can IMO.
