On a g35 sedan, there is NO suspension change. The ride difference you are feeling is the tires and possibly the LSD.

The service manual only has ONE set of parts diagrams for the G35 sedan.

On the G37 Coupe, there is a clear differentiation between the sport and non-sport suspensions.

The sport package consists of the following:

paddle shifters
sport seats
S emblem
Front/side facia
LSD
bigger brakes
18" wheels and tires
Aluminum pedals
steering wheel stitching

I'm pretty sure Infiniti would list 'performance suspension' or 'sport tuned suspenion' if it was part of the package; thats a pretty significant feature. It is clearly listed for the G37.

Also if my specs are wrong, then every Infiniti dealer must have a faulty service manual.

I understand Mike, but like I said ,the specs HAVE TO BE WRONG.Go drive and compare.Low profile tires do stiffen up the ride quality, but not much will be noticed between 50 series and 55 series tires. The limited slip rear has no effect on ride quality either.I drove all three...Journey, sport 5at, and the sport 6mt.

It's not just the sidewall of the tire.

the re050a is a high performance tire with a much stiffer sidewall.

driving a journey with the perf wheels/tires package has the same ride as a journey with the sport package.

I'm sure someone at Infiniti would have caught that error already if it was really wrong.

Keep in mind I've owned a G, and I drive these on a daily basis.

That being said, what do I know? I'm just a car salesman.

Sorry,I still dissagree with You.My 08 5at sport is riding on 08 journey 17" takeoffs for daily driving .They do clear the bigger brakes, and softened the ride slightly(Los Angeles fwys suck) But the car still is stiffer than a Journey.

Your car IS a journey... a journey with the sport package is still a journey.

08's come in 4 trims.

08 sedan (base)
08 Journey
08 Sport 6MT
08 AWD

07's came in 5 trims

07 Sedan (base)
07 Journey
07 Sport
07 Sport 6MT
07 AWD

Also, I just checked the G35 brochure from when I bought mine (yes, still have it ). No mention of "sport suspension" or any sus difference in the Sport model.

Ok Mike, then You be the first Dealership to prove Infiniti's specs are wrong.
My butt dyno cant give You specs, but it can make a good comparison between the cars.I also used My girlfriends boob dyno as a backup.
Have Your Dealership buy a spring and shock Dyno and get back to us with specs.

Are you really that hard headed, or did you lick the windows on the short bus growing up?

Mike, I am not sure if it's different in the US, but my Canadian spec sheet I received from my dealer when I ordered my G lists the Sport having a "Sport Tuned Suspension".

Here is part of the spec sheet that I have that indicates the Sport model having a Sport Tuned Suspension. Again, I have no idea if it's different for US models.

I'm not trying to prove them wrong. I'm merely reiterating it to you.

could be, because the US version never mentions anything about a "sport tuned VDC"

few other difference are the spoiler is its own option, and our paddle shifters are magnesium, not titanium....
