i think they are going to increase the price of each thing

base price up a bit
sport package up a bit
premium package up a bit

etc. so when youre done there will be a good bit of a bump

which most people never used the cd changer anyways and it took up space. i'm hoping to up the G37 sedan and also bring a G25 sedan over soon. that will help w/ the people who only care about a cheap price and dont buy the G for the purpose of having a sports sedan

i'm actually thinking of ripping out that lump of a changer anyway. it's in the way and just takes up room in the trunk.

I just don't see it. Making a sedan faster than a coupe would cannibalize sales.

It is my understanding that the sedan is already faster than the coupe. No?

I have to put this out there..

"What do you thin the gas mileage will be?"

"Do you think it will run on regular octane?"

(just trying to save some server space by covering this all in one post

Did it last time? The coupe was a huge success. There is no reason to think the sedan would do so this time. Those looking at those 2 classes are usually buying the car for 2 different reasons, and I don't see someone making the jump because of .2 liters and a few HP being added to the sedan. I also don't think Inifiniti cares about loosing sales to Infiniti; they care about loosing sales to BMW, Lexus, Audi, and MB. The fact is a G37 sedan competes better with the 335i, the new A4 coming out, the IS350, and the C350 sport.

I took mine out right away, and replaced the upper trunk liner with the non-cd changer trunk liner. Really opens up the trunk, and you can't tell it was ever there. Plus it will all go back to original when I trade or sell. Very good mod if you don't use the cd changer.

PS: All that happens on the head unit is that the CD changer no longer shows up as an option. Everything else works normally.

I have a hard time believing they'll up the price that much on mid-cycle refresh. I'm hoping for something more along the lines of $2k.
