I wouldn't be surprised if people returning their loaners also filled in less than premium grade fuel, which in turn manifest itself in degraded performance.
I haven't had an 07' loaner in a while, but IIRC I don't think there were any differences in performance, only in handling (it was an AWD).

the loaners feel slower because the tires on the non-sport models suck so bad. i am sliding all over the place and can't put the power to the ground as easy without the limited slip diff.
i also drive it in manumatic mode most of the time, so i don't see how it would feel any faster...i guess it would feel faster if i left it in drive and just floored it
overall, my car feels faster and the tires just feel so much better on the sport...those RSA's are scary to ride on cause they slide too much

I had taken my car for the 3750 mile service so yes, I had been babying my G. After what I observed with the loaner car, I am now a mad man on the road. I want to make sure she learns pretty quicly that I like it rough.
I used to think that Infiniti was BS'ng people when they said the car learns how you drive, after my experience with this loaner car, I am now a believer.

The loaner car I used was well maintained and fast. I must have suffered from whiplash after my stint with that car. When I took my car back the difference was like night & day. I am going to train her and see how it works out in the next weeks to come. I am also going to call the dealer to find out if they did something to the G cos whatever they did, I want it (assuming they did anything)
