What do you guys think...

I'm a big customizer...but always follow less is more. Plus...I always try to do something different than anyone else has.

I'm thinking of designing side vents similar to the XF's. I like the clean lines of our cars, but I think it needs a little something.

Anyone good at photoshop?

What do you guys think?

This is a quick job - just trying to get a concept up. I think it would have to be more designed with the lines of our cars, but with something subtle it could come out looking alright.

This design theme seems to be cropping up more & more.
JMO, but I prefer the clean lines the way they are.

Personally I don't like it. The only thing behind the front wheel on the fender that would look good is a clear sidemarker, similar to many euro models.

If you are going to make this project becomes true, I suggest you to make it a full carbon fiber fender. Since our cars are heavy as hell, carbon fiber fenders and carbon fiber hoods will be great applications.

Uh yea... that wont do d1ck, stock fenders and hood are already light as ****, if you're buying CF to lighten up your... SEDAN, you bought the wrong car to begin with.

Actually IIRC your cars weigh far less than the G37, far less than the first gen sedans, and barely more than '03-'04 coupes (less than '05-'06 coupes)

Thanks for the quick photoshop.

Most probably i would buy the two panels, have them cut out and vens fabicated. I like the subtlety of the vents.

A place near my house, Platinum Motorsports, does some amazing work on Bentley's, Aston, Lamborghini, Rolls, etc... I'm not a fan of some of their work...but at least they could do vents and be symetrical.

I thought about repeaters...but i can't find anything that is cool and that doesn't look like just a repeater.

thanks for the comments.

was at the dealer and i checked out the weigh of the g37 and the 2007 g35. they are about the same. not much of a difference.

^^^ Really?

2008 G37: 3668

2008 G35x: 3704

2008 Sedan Sport 6MT: 3532

2008 Journey: 3508

2008 Base: 3497

So from the 2008 base up the G37 it's a difference of 175 pounds. That's a lot.

Edited for better stats...

Gross weight is the same. 4656 vs 4658. comparing base vs base. from edmunds.com not sure if you are talking about curb weight or gross weight.
