No, it is not something that is built into the price of the car. It's one of the benefits we can offer because we are a recipient of the Infiniti Award of Excellence that only 28 dealers get per year. (there are ~180 dealerships in the country)

Looks like I spoke too soon and/or Pinnacle Infiniti in Phoenix have given up on deals they made with customers. Their Service Department appears to be also suffering from other problems as well.
How much do they make from two oil changes per year versus how much they lose from screwing a customer that has bought several cars from them but will never return. Somewhat short-sighted of a company, especially during a depressed economy, to give up good customers.
Took the vehicle back in March (5,000 miles) to have them replace a battery which kept going flat. Now that replacement keeps going flat but Pinnacle Infiniti states there is no apparent problem. They already had it back again and supposedly did full diagnostics.
They know they are at fault but telephone calls go unanswered, so it is time to contact Infiniti Consumer Relations and to find another dealership.
