Start Date for 09 Orders

Regardless of whether the 09's are 35's or 37's or whatever, does anyone know when Infiniti is going to start taking orders on them? I'd heard that June was the last month to order an 08. Does that means 09 orders for July or do manufactures have a gap between model years where you can't place orders for either?

I'm a happy man...

I ordered my platinum graphite / graphite G37 sedan 6MT today, premium, nav, tech, splash guards today for $500 over invoice minus any applicable incentive programs (conquest, etc.) at the time of delivery. I've been working leases with Bommarito over the last week to get a '08 6MT > 35S > 35xS; actually worked out decent deals at $39 over invoice (plus 1st month lease + acquisition fee + acq tax + $189 doc + $50 plates at delivery) on a 35S and 35xS with the same options, but the vehicles were already on trucks heading out to dealers, and I didn't want to pay to flat bed them to St. Louis. I didn't want to pay $500 over invoice, but I wanted a car where I could have them deliver it to the dealership without unwrapping and prepping it . You know there is some turd 18 year old doing the initial wash on the car, and they usually don't give crap. I like to do it myself, and plus, they have a penchant for placing the front license plate bracket on the sedans, which I specifically told them to leave off or they would have to rectify it prior to delivery. Now for the painful waiting part. I guess I'll shop around for a drop and kicks.

what was the MSRP?? And what is the invoice price? People are wondering if the G37 sedan will be more money than the G35 sedan.

I don't think prices will be available until August. I just had it stipulated in my buyer's order that I'll pay $500 over national invoice price (no regional market adjustments, blah, blah). I'm sure prices will go up, but that is likely expected. I'm still thinking that with including taxes, my monthly payment will be under $500. We'll see what the residuals and money factors (I also specified that I would finance at the base rate) are doing when the car arrives. I also specified that the lease is contingent upon the application of any available offers/incentives at the time of delivery. So who knows, I could be walking out of there with the car at $150 above invoice if conquest remains in effect. My only hope is that the auto market is still slow come fall .

Thanks for sharing AAMC. I was hoping to get a feel for the price increase before placing an order but I guess I may have to take a leap of faith if I want the car anytime in the near future.
