scratched switch plates, warraty?

The window switchplates on both doors are scratched on my 07 G35S, as well as the surround of the air bag. Has anyone gotten these replaced under warranty? They seem easy to scratch after some time exposed to the interior heat of the car.

TIA

...i dunno if this will work...i mean, my steering wheel looks "ashy" but i doubt they're gonna replace the steering wheel for normal wear and tear

I dont need the whole wheel replaced but the plastic cover around the horn pad, certainly is scratched and I dont wear any rings, it is just on nail contact that it has scratched. I dont think that it would be out of line to expect a 35+K car to not deteriorate in this way in just 1.5 years worth of use.................

I have a few scratches in various places myself. I believe it's a byproduct of making the plastic softer for better aesthetic appeal, giving the interior a more upscale feel.

I have a slight discoloration after only 4 months on the driver window switch housing where I rest my leg when driving. My knee is bent versus on the dead pedal.

I'm not that happy, but it's a lease. Think i'll have my upholstery guy make a leather knee pad for there and velcro it on.

Can't you just buy the covers? They shouldn't be that much.

As for the steering wheel, if it continues to "ash"...they should replace it. Period. If they give you a hard time, send a letter to Infiniti.

It'll be like pulling teeth ..... I still haven't been successful getting them to change out my grill.

I mean the steering wheel "ashing" isn't that bad...but do you think they'd replace the steering wheel?

I have the same problem, and was wondering if they would warranty it also. I'll try when I take it in next time. It looks like it's white plastic painted black or something. It comes off to easy.
