'07 unlocks by itself and other bugs
The doors are unlocking by themselves! First time it did it I thought maybe I'd forgotten to lock the car. It has now done it three times in the last few weeks. Now, after locking the car, I double check by pulling the door handle. Did that today and when I returned to the car an hour later it was unlocked. Each time it happened the car was parked in a different place. And no, I'm not accidentally pressing the keyfob - it's always in a loose pocket by itself (a carry over from the cellphone scare).
Also, the other day after driving to work, I'd shut the car off and then opened the driver's door. I was gathering my stuff and getting ready to leave when the alarm started to go off. The door was open for ~20-30 seconds when this happened.
Anybody else with either of these problems (features)?
Cheers,

It could be electrical issues or perhaps a few things need to be reflashed or reprogrammed. There have been a few cases where Coupe windows were acting up. Instead of just dropping an inch or two when the doors are opened they would roll all the way down.
However if I had to guess, I'd say that it's more than likely your own doing and you just don't know it. I keep my keys in their own pocket but there have been a few times when my house keys got contorted in such a way that they hit my ikey and cracked my windows or hit the lock button and beeped the horn.

Thanks, but I doubt it is my doing. As stated, the fob is kept in a loose pocket and I'm double checking for locking. Lately I've taken to carry the fob rather than pocket it to guard against accidental button pushes.

I would say it is most likely that you are pushing the button by accident. Saturday night Trey was walking across the parking lot and the alarm went off on my car. His fob was in his "loose" shorts pocket but still managed to be pushed somehow as he was walking.
There is a possibility that there is a problem though and if you take to guarding the key as you stated above then that will rule out that as the cause and you can address any possible issue that may be there.
Good luck in finding out exactly what is going on

I've had 4 times in the last 6 months where I came back to my car and it was unlocked and I was sure I had locked it as well. It could have been a coincidence... but it's good to know other people have phantom locks as well...
Done it many times
I've done the same thing on probably a dozen occasions. I always have my key in a loose pocket too, but the buttons are really easy to press accidentally. Even my smaller cat is heavy enough to unlock my doors while walking across my lap
this happened maybe 2 times to me.. i am pretty sure i didn't press the unlock button.. happened when i was driving
