Going to purchase a G35/37 sedan, just want to know how long should I wait to get the 09 G37 sedan, or see it in my local dealer? If it will take quite a while, I think I will go with the G35.

Leds i assume? I bought mine from a reputable dealer, and they burned out. BOTH of them! Actually, every once in a while, one will blink like it belongs in a night club!

The 2009 G37 ordering guide was released to the US dealer network in late May. All "new" G sedan 2008 (model year) build orders stopped at that point.

The 2009 G37 sedans will probably be hitting the showrooms in early September. Remember Nissan "officially" release info about the 2008 G35 sedan on 9/1/07 and the 2007 G35 on 9/1/06. Nissan is very consistent

When official info is released, the G37 sedans will already be on the way to the showrooms. Some dealers are claiming they know their 2009 G37 sedan allocations are coming in early September.

There should very few surprises about the 09 G37 upgrades. I'm ordering mine in September!

Would you be surprised if the MSRP is 1-2k more than the G35?

I wouldn't be...

The brakes alone are worth that extra 2K.

I'd gladly pay $2k more for the huge Akebono brakes, 7sp tranny and the 3.7L engine.

To us yes, but to the manufacturer probably more like $250

I agree. No problem here paying more for the upgrades. I myself will hold on to my G35x for a couple more years. In hope that the G50 rumor comes true. How nice would that be? They need to compete with the IS-F and in 2 more years the TL-S.

That "Performance" market is becoming a smaller and smaller market. Gas prices have been on the increase for like 40 days straight.
