G35 tips you probably don't know :D

Cool!
Now here's one that most people might know but I'm surprised to find out that many don't:
If you press the status button it will show a horizontal split screen. If you keep pressing the status button it will cycle through different options for the bottom of the screen.
So if you are on the iPod or XM it will show the music info in more detail on the top 1/2 of the screen and then cycle through options on the bottom showing climate info and turning directions for the GPS (but you have to have a route programmed in there).
Again, many may know this but if you don't - it's pretty useful!

Windshield Washer Nozzles - Adjustable
So I havnt been thrilled with my windshield washer sprayer as it seemed pretty weak, and not spray high enough so I wound up having to spray a lot longer than I thought necessary. When i had a G37X sedan loaner recently I noticed it sprayed a lot higher and worked really well, and thought maybe they put in a higher pressure pump or something.
When I got my 35 back I looked to see if I could point the sprayers higher or something and noticed I could. Each of the individual nozzles (three in each of the two "heads") can be spun in the holder. With a pin or paperclip stuck in the hole you can aim the nozzle in the head. If you move them, go in baby steps. I thought they needed to go way up so I put them as high as I could and I was hitting the back window with them, after some time I was able to get them at a must better position as compared to out of the factory position.
I know, minor stuff, but it seems pretty nice this was made to move them if you want.

This isnt new to many people but the Nav does not allow you to punch in a destination or scroll through destinations when the car is in motion. Makes sense.
However, why is it that we are allowed to scroll through our ipod/music box songs. Say you were scrolling through artists alphabetically.....thats just as dangerous if not even more so.
Both situations are dangerous, I just struggle to see why one is allowed and the other isnt.
So my tip is you probably didnt know that it locks lists in nav but not lists in music while in motion.

I like to roll down the rear windows about an inch when I have the moonroof open. I helps to lessen the noise.
If I want a nice breeze on me, I open the moonroof and roll all the windows up. I then open the rear passenger side window by about an inch or two. The gives the driver an awesome breeze while no other passengers feel it.
If you only open the driver's side rear window, the breeze goes to the front passenger... kinda cool.
