I know what you mean.
My 07 is super tight and feels very planted, especially since I upgraded my wheels and tires. The feedback is amazing and I know when I'm reaching her limits.

I'm by no means saying that all 08's have an issue, but I know that I felt the same way as you with my 08 loaner.
The steering was very 'numb' and I didn't dare push it, as I never really felt in control.

I would not say that the problem was solved . No no no. The camber was off just a hair but the dealer was super nice to fix it in warranty. but yes, with the tire pressure at 33 psi from 35-36 psi, it feels much better. the steering still feels numb though. Still dont feel very confident with the car.

Hey Kool Yaar, i think, the switch from FWD to RWD might be the reason.

When does it feel numb? At low speeds? The steering doesn't tend to give much feedback at low speeds which is my only gripe about its driving characteristics.

The G37 coupe felt much improved, close to BMW like responsiveness.
