Car idled for 2 hours - went to the beach
Thanks to all, makes me feel a whole lot better knowing that the car is OK and that im not the only who did this
However, I think it would make sense for Nissan to program it to shut off after a while if there is no key inside.

You wouldn't want to give your car over to someone to drive (forgetting that the i-key is in your pocket) and the car stalls out while they are driving down the highway. That would be bad.

Change your oil. You probally consumed a little bit of it running your car like an oil refinery...lol...but other than that your car is fine.

Asked them to do the "Increased throttle sensitivity at low RPM" TSB, they couldn't do it because of "no data to download" whatever that means.

OTOH, when you're just idling, the fans are kicking in to move air across the radiator and it's not cooling nearly as well as if you were driving at 30 or 50 mph.
Years ago, RX7s would catch on fire when people were driving in stop and go traffic b/c they would overheat.
AHHAHAH omg same thing happen to me..... i was ****in stupid.... went to eat at a restaurant with some friends.. left the car running for at least 1.5 hours..... car seems fine till this day lol. i was suprised how my car didn't turn off without the key being inside it
