Forgot to post this in my other post, but here it is. We have an 07G35S and the "S" has started to flake. We have never had it power washed or through a car wash. I was and clay the car. Always with a sheepskin wash mitt and Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash. Our hose is far from powerfull as well. You can barely make it out, but on the bottom right hand corner you can see it, it sort of looks like a reflection but it isn't. Is this a common problem? Also, would this be fixed under warranty ?


It is also on the bottom left hand corner, just not as bad.

edit: It's actually towards the middle on the right side. It's also flaking along the edges a little bit.

 

Why not take G35 S right off , looks cleaner without it.

 

I would... but the thing is, it's my moms car and she doesn't want to have it de-badged. I'll look for pics of it and I'll show her see how she likes it. If it were my car which it will be in about 2 years it would've been debadged a while ago. It's a pain going in between the letters when I wash it.

 

When you decide to debadge it, let me know. I want that S.

i know its random but i think the corolla S looks almost the same the the G35 S

 

HAHA alright, i'll see what i can do convince my mom to let me de-badge it. If I do I'm taking everything off but the Mt.Fuji emblem.
