Fast Intention Exhaust, My Morning at FI II :)

Sorry for ripping your title Terry For those interested, below is the Terry's experience at FI (automatic sedan)

https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...ntentions.html

I just got the FI HFC and FI Catback, the system is composed of HFC by FI, Magnaflow X-pipe, and Plished FI designed exhaust (manufactured by Sebring Tuning).

The Catback was "on sale" for $1079 (normaly closer to $1479), I do not know how long it will last for. I got a the FI HFC cats used for a good deal, and labor.

For the sound, it is perfect for me! At start-up you have a low rumble, when you slow start moving its still a nice deep roar, you gun it it comes alive and screams at you, but cruising at 80 on the freeway is VERY quite IMO and can barely hear from inside with the windows up.

It looks great, I am washing and then doing pics and video. Tony at Fast Intentions is AWESOME to work with and REALLY cared about the quality of his work, a very fair priced product, and just a great guy and team there at FI. Plus he has a BAD *** MUSTANG pushes around 1000 hp.

I live in Orange County if anyone wants to meet... I took a chance buying this without hearing in person (only from video) and soooo happy, sounds SOOOO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!!

BTW, this took forever to write cause I'm jealous of Terry's "my morning at GTM" that is soooo sick.... GTM fund has started for me sounds be awesome add on to my 6-MT

If you ever want to switch for day, let me know

I love it, but honestly with technology in a few years it REALLY will make no sense to have a manual because these auto/clutchless manual tranny's engaged sooo damn fast!!! It's not like the good old days with a stock manual S4 was almost a 3/4 of second faster just because the shifts in the auto were soooo slow! Now you have to shift damn perfect to just BARELY gain .2 faster 0-60!

That sounds exactly like what I want.... I'm just not sure the wife would approve.

No, she never (NEVER) drives the G... and she never will.
She's also almost never a passenger... I drive too aggressively.
But.. she does seem to have something to say about every little mod I make. Her newest b!tch is the little G35Driver stickers on the back windows. She says it cheapens the car.

My garage is under the house. If I fire that thing up in the early AM, the whole house will shake. LOL
I'm not sure she'd be all too happy with me if I did that to my G.... but boy, I sure want to.

Maybe I'll go with the Pop Charger first and then go from there.

bro trust me its not as loud as u think
if u start it up, its just a little bit of a deeper tone
and when u drive normal its not that loud
when u drive past 4500rpm thats when you'll hear it lmao
and its not loud in that cabin either
its a great exhaust
and if u just get the exhaust and no the HFC then it sounds almost like stock if u drive it normal lol
just letting you know in case you change your mind lol

You know what they say. If you have to ask...

If I remember correctly, the cat back is a little over $1K.
The HFCs are gonna run you about $500-$600 more.

Am I close?

I took off my stillen intake and the HFC and exhaust are not loud at all unless you get on it! and yes I gained my power back... stillen has lost any potential business from me especially after i called their office with questions!
