Xm trial subscription

I have a quick question about the XM free three month trial. How exact are they with cancelling it? I got my car on Apr 28th and I still have full access to all the channels on XM. Was just wondering if they send a bill and you have to cancel then or if they just shut it off when it runs out. My car did come from another dealer ship in NJ (I am in CT) and it had about 200 miles on it when I get it. Not sure if the dealership activated it with a special code and just forgot or what. Any help would be appreciated.

It automatically shuts off after the 90day trial period.

I bought my G35S at the end of March '08 and my XM is still working, 4 1/2 months later. I did receive an offer in the mail to renew the subscription, which I ignored. It will probably be shut off soon, although I'm not sure of the exact timeframe that they allow before the XM service is cancelled after the 90-day initial trial period.

Call XM and tell them you received an offer for 50% off but you misplaced it. You'll get XM for $77- (1 Year Subscription) (Nav-Traffic is xtra)

It works... I've done it, people here have done it, and I just got my friend with an 08 G at work to do it as well.

I'm about to do it with our 06 MDX as well.

I'm hoping we soon see deals which combine the best of both Sirius and XM in one subscription.

Imagine, Stern, NFL, MLB, etc....

i got mine april 29th. but after the 3 months, it was still not turned off. I made the mistake of calling XM and inquiring about the service and the new merger. They then started my free trial from that call on aug 1 to Nov 1... except i don't have the nav traffic anymore.

I should have kept my mouth shut. I'm curious how long other have been going before it gets shut off.

Once the XM trial expires it will cut off on its own. I did call and they offered me the 3 months for $15. My 3 months just expired and when i called them they offered me another 3 months for $15 or 1 year for $77 and they said it was because I was such a loyal customer even though I have only been with them for 3 months

Yeah, I did that deal too. Got the 3 months for $15, BUT at the end of the 3 months, XM renewed my subscription [B]at full price without my authorization[B]. I was plenty pissed, as I knew that I had not given permission for this because I'd already seen threads on here regarding the $77 deal. On the bright side, I called and gave them the coupon code for $77 and they gave me that deal with no questions asked. The lesson is: be careful with the $15 renewal, b/c you may subsequently get renewed at full price without knowing it.

I just got 6 months for $19.99.
I flip between 3 channels, and really only like 1 out every 5 songs that come on, but for $20 I'll keep it. I'll mark my callender for the 6 months so I don't get charged full price after that.
