As this is a car for my wife's daily transportation, the additional HP of the 37 does not matter too much to me obviously (after saying that, I officially feel old). Besides, when driving the 37 coupe I could not feel any notable difference. The 7-speed auto is cool, but for a daily 6-mile commute on city streets I am not sure we would even see much advantage to that. We will probably keep the car 2-3 years.
Do you guys think that the 4500 under invoice would counteract the drop in resale value that will be realized when the G37 sedan comes out? I know it is all speculation, but you guys would have a more educated guess than me.
I imagine the dealer really wants to unload the car so I am possibly debating to increase the offer of 1500 under invoice (before the 3K incentive) to 2 or 2500 to sweeten the deal.
Any opinions?
Thanks!

The credit market is tight right now but then again so is the market for gas guzzling, entry level luxury cars. Infiniti should have low interest rate financing or other incentives for the 09's by Nov/Dec. If not, I'll just pay cash.

If they truly sold it to you at MSRP then the G37 is an outstanding deal over the G35 and I think you are crazy for paying MSRP.

Something I've noticed during the past week about the stealerships - I've been looking for some price and option info on the 09 G's and couldn't get ANY solid information from ANY dealerships that I called in regards to pricing and options. The reason for this is that NO ONE actually knows definitive information of how the cars will be optioned and priced as of yet. Anyone that says they have some "inside information" pricing or option packaging about the 09 G's is full of it.
