Hey guys i just had an idea for my car... i wanted to see what you guys think about it....
I have a Ivory Pearl 08 sedan... i have already tinted my lights and the windows.
Now i want to do something more to it. i was thinking of getting my grill painted Ivory Pearl and get the infiniti sign painted Metallic black the same with all the logos on the back.
and then getting my 18 inch sport rims painted Ivory Pearl and getting the infiniti logo on the middle of the rim painted metallic black. and then maybe lower it..
what do u guys think??

Seems like a lot of work and expense for a subtle difference that most people won't notice. But if it looks good to you, drive on.

 

I can get it all done for $300...
i still need more options..

personally, i'm not a fan of painting wheels and stuff, but if you did it i'd go for another color. maybe add an accent color?

 

If you do this, please post up pics as I have the same color car as you and I'd like to see how it looks! BTW, if you can post up any current pics that'd be nice too.

 

What do you think about going with a black and white theme like some others on here, i really like how it looks like IP G35

 

I think white wheels and grille is going to look really tacky.

 

I think that you'll be adding so much Ivory to the car that you'll loose a lot of the subtle contrasts make some of the finer features pop. Might look a little weird. The best way to go would be to take some good pictures and then photoshop some of your ideas. It doesn't need to be a perfect photoshop to give you the general idea whether it'll work or not. When you're done, if you like it, thats really all that matters.

 

I will post some pics up of my car as it is now and some when its finished.... do you guys think it will look better with a all black grill or a white grill with a black infiniti logo. and for the rims I think I'm just gonna get them colored black.

 

I think that the rims and grill in black would be a better idea...

I would consider doing a vinyl overlay black roof as well (I think that there is a really nice IP sedan that has taht done and it looks awesome)

 

ya I'm also gonna get the roof black but first I want to do everything else. so you guys think I should also get the badges in the back painted black?.... and what color tone will look the best? like a mattalic black or a flat black

 

That would be WAY to much white, mot enough contrast IMO!

 

1st off. i done think thw white frill would look right on a white car... you dont want to see the contrast in color with a nice big grill?

2nd. If you plan to paint your roof back, i would want more black details in the car to go with the white/black theme

 

no I don't want to paint my roof .... I think I'm gonna use a vinal
