connection that will work with the journey level packages screen and control through the stock radio (im a moron and did not pay for it upfront).
humm do you have the 3 RCA connections in the glove box? I've got a bog standard Journey without the Navi package. I connect my Ipod using the RCA jacks in the armrest, but I cannot control the songs i.e. change track or ffw or rwd using the steering wheel or dash controls. I have to use the Ipod itself to change. Also you cannot get the songs to display on to the head unit.
As far as I'm aware there isn't an interface unit that will work with the 2008 sedans (don't ask me why I know its retarded)

I actually like using the iPod itself to find and change songs...i heard it takes forever to scroll through artists using that crappy dial under the LCD

In my 08 armrest there are RCA outlets which allow me to see the songs on the IPOD and change them through the steering wheel.
how i have the same rca in my arm rest but i cannot control anything with any of the stock stereo except for the sound.

I do not have the Nav. I bought the car 2 months ago. I am sorry, but the tech at the show room hooked up my IPOD, but he just took a few moments. Maybe there are different generation 08's or maybe yours is not fully functional. I see all of the songs on a list and then also all of my seperate folders. About 5 songs in advance.
Good luck.
Good luck.
what plug do you have it hooked up to a special brand anything special about the plug itself? thanks for any help you can give me.

Sorry for the delay. I was wrong. The tech used a plug into the car rather than RCA cables, although there are still RCA cables there. This plug goes into the IPOD. I hope this helps.
