Wow Sounds like a lot,

I got Side mirrors, Half hood, fenders, part of the door, so if one of my idiot friends opens my door too hard onto a call or something there is a thin piece of clear bra to prevent paint damage, and it was only 600.

Dont pay that! DO IT YOURSELF!

I ordered my 3M clearbra for the hood, fenders, bumper, and rear view mirrors for less than $200. The bumper is a little tough (cause its one piece), but that other pieces are EASY. Just need a little patience and common sense. I've done 7 cars now and it's not that hard.

Moodyman, when you got this quote did you have "Stupid" written on your
forehead? That's like the guy that gave me a quote for $1K per tree to
trim two. I ran in the house, looked in the mirror to see what I had written
on my forehead. Previous quotes have been $800 for three trees.

i think it depends on the area you live in. I live in central jersey and I was quoted 1100 bux to as low as 800 bux. But it seemed like the $800 was for generic clear bra not laser cut for the g35. I wish i was getting quoted $600.

I thought maybe the price was high because I requested that the whole hood be done..but I just realized that the quote they sent me only includs 12' of hood..

I originally called them over the phone and they e-mailed me a quote:

Thank you for your inquiry about the paint protection film for your 2008 INTIFINITI G35. Listed below you will find all the film segments most commonly requested. The film we use is the latest version of the 3M Scotchguard film and is custom designed and applied. We do not use pre-cut kits. Additional pieces for extended coverage can be designed per your request. The average time required for application is two days.
All of the prices include full preparation, material (including waxing of the film) and application. To reserve an appointment date, a 15% deposit is required for us to order the necessary material in advance and inspect it for quality.
If you happen to have any existing chips in the paintwork, they should be touched-up prior to application of the film by either us or you. If your car has any aftermarket (non-OEM) paintwork that was not done at the factory or by Detailing Dynamics, Inc, 3M’s warranty does not cover lifting/marking of the paint due to the film application.

2008 INFINITI G35 SILVER EXT.

HOOD – 12” $245

FRONT BUMPER - $580

FENDERS - $160/pair

Damn...your right..I counted the fenders twice....I e-mailed them back..they knocked to quote down to $887..certainly a lot better than the $1200 I thought...

so $887 for front bumper, fenders, and 12" of hood....

here is the reply back when I said the price was a little high...

Ken,

The prices are higher because Eddie and Matt are very good at what the do.
Also they pieces are custom for your car. The kits are less expensive but they leave the edges exposed.
Versus the custom pieces that get wrapped around to protect the edges.
Thank you for your interest. Should you change your mind please give a call.
Please feel free to stop by and see how the film is put there is always a car here with or getting the film.

hmmm well i dont have a clear bra, but niether of my fenders have 1 chip in them, the only parts that do are my hood and bumper, and thats fter a year of owning the car and numerous canyon runs and alot of spirited driving, i would rather just get my bumperrepainted twice then pay $600+ for a ugly clear bra.
