Hi AesonVirus,
I would like to upgrade to LG DARE as well, how did you like phone together with G35. Can you transfer all phone book date to the G? And how totally you like that phone?
Thank you.

I have a treo 650 & 07G35x with nav. I get a very long pause delay on outgoing calls - where I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. This can take as long as 5 seconds. Incoming calls are fine.

The Dare has been good so far. I have an iPod Touch, love the device and really wanted the iPhone but avoided AT&T for several reasons. The phone synced super easy with the G, shows signal strength and caller id correctly and from what I can tell, sounds fine through the system.
Copying the phonebook hasn't worked for me. It kills the Bluetooth connection when I try. Maybe someone will figure out a way around these Verizon lockouts soon.

I have an HTC Tilt modded out and when I get an incoming call, it rings so I push the steering wheel to answer. Shortly after I hear the caller say hello from my pocket as the radio turns back on, then a few seconds later it connects like normal. Its not really that bad, but should work like normal.

I updated the iPhone firmware from 2.02 to 2.1 last night, and today I had several calls, and there was no delay at all!!!

Hey mike_d:

Do you have navi? If so, I am very interested in how you got the Tilt to work, and what ROM you're using. I have been trying the Tilt, and I have the problem that others have described on other threads where the person on the other side can't hear me, and I hear them very garbled. The only way to fix it is to switch to the handset, and then select 'phone' to switch back, and even then, the quality is fairly poor, with folks complaining that I sound very tinny. I believe this problem only occurs in G's with the navi...

Cheers

I have the non-navi. All I did was go to comms manager, turn on bluetooth, open settings for comm manager and pair device, it works flawless except for what I described earlier. Basic operation I believe. In my settings it says...

WM 6.1 professional

ce os 5.2.19716 (build 19716.dutty's) v 6.1

then it has under the about selection...

rom version dualtouch v6 wwe
rom date 03/04/08
radio version 1.58.16.27
protocol version 25.61.30.03h

I have on here the bluetooth toggle program to save battery life, but it wont work when I click it, I have to go through comms manager.

hope that helps

Solid71, upgrade your firmware to 2.1. Apple has solved this problem, at least in my 1st gen iPhone.
