I took a test drive in a G35 sedan sport and really enjoyed the car. My only gripe is the headrest. I felt like it pushed my head too far forward. I had to recline quite a bit to get comfortable.

I also noticed that when I pushed my head back into the headrest, the metal poles that hold the headrest into place would push back through the seat into my upper back. It made the seat feel flimsy. Has anybody else noticed this? I'm hoping it was just the test car.

That is the active head restraints, they help protect from whiplash if you're ever rear ended

So if you're hit from behind, your back will be pushed into the seat causing the headrest to be pushed forward, right?

Interesting post. I was actually thinking about my headrests this weekend. I don't have the issue that you experienced and I actually don't feel like they are too far forward.

The issue I'm having is that the driver's side headrest seems to lift VERY easily so that I often find myself reaching back to press the release to lower the headrest.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but similar topic. Anyone else notice this as well?

Does anybody else feel the headrest anchors push back when they push their head into the headrest?

Yes, I do feel something in my upperback area when I push my head into the headrest.

I'm not sure what the difference is between Sport seats and regular seats but mine seems to be perfectly comfortable.
