not sure if this trick works for you guys, but this is what I do on my Z since I have the same problem..

Because the mirror housing can fold in and out.. I basically retract that thing back and forth, almost kinda violently, until all the water flies out. Kinda like opening and closing the door but with MUCH better results and less effort. If you guys are too afraid to do that on your cars then spend the $$ and get a leaf blower.

We all use the Absorber, I have two one for each hand....the point of this
thread is the water that drips from our mirrors and how to keep it from doing
so. Either a leaf blower or maybe if your g/f has that talent she might help.....LMAO!

If you take your time and use the corners of the absorber under the mirror and in the crevices you'll draw the water out and it won't drip. Or maybe you should try using three absorbers...

I usually just run the microfiber towel thru let it sit for a few mins so it can soak up whatever it can..and come back and wipe it down again

I use microfiber hand towels and wrap them around the mirrors. My girl has coined them as my cars "ear muffs," she also thinks i am crazy for washing it every weekend!!

I agree with the others about driving the car around after you dry it. For years I've driven around the block after drying the car. When I get back to the garage, I go over the car with my favorite detail spray (Zaino) to remove any dust and water runs. This gets water out of all the hiding spots. Nothing looks worse than a clean, shiny car and water drops all over.

I just tie my micro fiber towel around each mirror and wait for it to dry. I also leave a long micro fiber towel on the rear bumper and close down the trunk so that any water dripping down will collect on the towel.
