did you hear this "thud" when you smacked it from 2nd to 3rd ? if so it's very common yet another thing hehe.

Yes, I also hear the thud when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. What is it? It just sounds like it can't be good for the tranny.

Its normal, it just shifts hard. Think of it this way, the smoother the shift the more your auto clutches and fluid is burning.

Hmm funyn thing is that it's only sometimes from 2nd to 3rd not the other gears. The other gears still jerky but from 2nd to 3rd its' extra bad with a thud. that one really feels like someone in the manual just dropping the clutch.

Normal, and kinda annoying.

So far, I don't think it has killed anyone's transmission. And like it was mentioned, the faster the shift, the easier it is on your tranny.

Yeah, I was very very paranoid but with the amount of mileage I have now, it's perfectly normal. A bit odd but totally normal.
