Infiniti service center question

Hey- I live in Boise, ID and we do not have an Infiniti dealer here in town. Our closet one is in SLC, UT several hours away. I am curious if any of you out there are in similar situations and what do you do for warantee/ recall work on your G's? I would hate to drive hours for service and our Nissan delarships here don't seem to care about the warantee work or service bulletins....

Thoughts?
Jon

several hours from the dealership...hmm, i would just get all your TSB's ready, make sure they're willing to give you a loaner while all the work is being done...or if you don't have many TSB's to get done, just drive there and wait around...i really see no other alternative

Can't a Nissan dealer do most (if not all) of the warranty work?

Wow several hours? I wouldn't even buy a car if the dealer was 30 minutes away at the next town. No hate here sorry just still shocked about the several hours. Wow

Unless they are also an Infiniti franchise, Nissan dealers are not authorized to perform warranty repairs on Infiniti vehicles. Yeah, yeah, I know, they're (corporately) the same company... what ever, it still ain't going to get you anywhere.

Sorry to say, you'd have to trek it out to the nearest Infiniti dealer for repairs... Hopefully they have a loaner car program which you can use.

On the good side, there really aren't too many recalls for the 07+ g35, and for tsb work, they usually have to be actually occuring for the dealer to perform them. ( no the dealer can't just bs that your car has every tsb occuring on it and just start changing parts. Or at least they're not supposed to )
