Hehe... I figured tht's what you were looking at getting when you said, "you'll see". LOL

Yeah, Lou and my buddy 2C have really been pushing me to get this intake. I'm still waiting to see if they will offer it with real CF air boxes or not, before I make my decision.

I've read the SE thread on myg37, and IMO 800 bucks for an intake is quite insane. Especially when it produces the same gains as just about every other intake, the fact that it's a "limited production" piece cuts no cheese with me.

Sure, it looks purdy, but there's at least 3-5 other intakes that make the same power at almost half the price.

I love the SE Intakes as well, but they don't fit our sedans I asked them and they would have to make it for our sedans by changing a few things.

Also where did you see the Dyno? They are claiming 24whp! Also you have other performance mods right? I remember back when they were dynoing the INjen intakes if a person was stock they got like 9whp but another person was really pissed because when they got it it made 2whp because they already have a full exhaust with HFC.

I was told that they will fit the HR motor sedan, np. I've seen the dyno charts, but I believe the actual HP increase was only 13 HP, not 24 HP. I believe that Lou at Amplifed has a copy.

I'm just having trouble justifying ~$800 for an intake when I'll be putting a SC on the car within the year, so I won't need the intake anymore.

Back from the dead...

Well I just ordered mine from jaycorptech on Sun, it appears as if the group buy price is still going. I got mine for $370.98 shipped.

Got mine cheaper than that off ebay i believe. its a great intake though, cant beat K&N. a little tip, do it when your engine is COLD! you have to touch the block quite a bit to get the brackets mounted to the block, also the length you cut the vaccum hose makes a big difference on how this kit goes together! you will see what i mean when you get to it!

Glad to hear it. Jason's a great guy, so I'm sure he'll take care of you. Let us all know how you like the new intake once you get it installed.
