I found the carbon fiber fabric at $35 a yard. The same used in the link that the OP posted. I'm waiting for the seller to contact me.

JOKESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS..... LOL

THIS IS THE FABRIC THAT I CURRENTLY HAVE SITTING IN MY LIVING ROOM. I GOT THE FABRIC FROM THE GUY AT THE BMW FORUM. I MET WITH HIM. NICE GUY BTW.

AS I HAVE MENTIONED BEFORE, I HAVE THE CF FABRIC ALREADY ALONG WITH THE ADHESIVE.. READY TO GO BUT I AM UNABLE TO REMOVE THE ALUMINUM FINISHES SO IM CURRENTLY AT A STALE MATE UNTIL I FIGURE IT OUT OR SOMEONE ELSE FIGURES IT OUT FOR ME.

This is the thread I started on this whole business:

https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...h-removal.html

So if anyone can help.. that would be great.. so I can finally get started on this project. I am also looking to acquire this cf fabric by other means... and if I manage to do so, I would be more than happy to supply this product to our forum.

what aluminum finishes cant you take off? the small piece on the dash pops right out, and the stereo face can be taken off as well.

have you tried removing the trim pieces on the doors? I tried... but was unable to... I was afraid I was breaking the clips rather than unhinging them.

they are connected by clips. I tried removing them.. just the way the service manual described.. but nothing was happening.. and I was using a pretty good amount of force already.

I heard some snapping sounds... but im not sure if its the clips breaking or its coming lose... so I decided to stop cuz I didnt wanna break my trim and have my interior ruined :S
