how exactly would you wrap the door handles with it? glue? adhesive spray? Im a noob to this

I believe you don't need to sand down the trim pieces at all...the fabric be thin enough. But if you get the Vinyl thicker kind from ebay, they you will have to sand down due to the thicker fabric.

this is the most appropriate way to wrap items...by sanding it down with 2000 grit sandpaper...then wipe down trims with acetone then apply industrial grade adhesive...just like my interior guy does it for us...

pics below: (i apologize for the low quality of pics since i was using my cellphone with not much light at that moment)

pre-cutting material to make sure all weaves line up...


wrapped items prior to install...




and end product...














this way though...the install is irreversible since sanding is involved...but my guy gives a warranty for his workmanship...1 year from bubbling, cracking, etc...

Some pieces I just finished the other day, I had some left over material and parts so tested it out myself. My friend stitched the boot.
